Recycle Your Old Mattress

Mattress excellent, servise rubbish never use archers again.

Recycling was a breeze, I did have to help the chap to the van as he was by himself - did end up breaking a nail in the process! Doh!

The old mattress was removed by the delivery team for recycling.

The delivery carrier was not aware that the arrangement with Archers included recycling the old mattress and had to be reminded to do so, which they did. My experience is that communication between Archers, the carrier and the customer needs to be improved. I had also ordered a mattress protector but this was not included in the mattress delivery. I phoned Archers to find out why not and was told it would be delivered by Royal Mail, which it was. It would have been helpful to have known this because the carrier supplies a code which has to be entered on completion of the delivery as confirmation that full delivery of the order has taken place. On the face of it, the mattress protector had not been delivered and without the information given in the phone call to Archers I would not have been able to confirm full delivery. This would have been unfair to the delivery men who had acted in good faith. Fortunately it all came good in the end but it was a highly stressful time which could easily have been avoided with better communication.
