Manufactured to Crib 5 specifications, the Thames mattress features a robust open coil interior, white fibre fillings and a PVC coated waterproof cover.
Specifically designed for use in commercial establishments, Crib 5 mattresses are widely used in family homes, thanks to their strict fire regularity standards.
The interior of the mattress is made up of several layers of natural fillings and a durable 13.5-gauge spring system, made up of rows of open coil springs.
Open coil springs are set out in rows running from head to toe and formed into one unit by attaching helical wires at the top and bottom.
Rotating your mattress from head to toe and flipping it over on a regular basis is the easiest way to increase its longevity and performance.
For an extra level of hygiene, the cover can be easily cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaning agents, reducing the risk of infections in those that are bed-bound.
