Supplied by Dura Beds, the Ortho Firm is perfect for those who are looking for a double mattress that’s robust, hard wearing and offers an extra firm support.
On top of its open coil spring system, the mattress features layers of resilient polyester fillings with a medium loft deep quilted damask top cover. Deep quilting is a process that stitches together the outer damask cover to the top layers of fillings and reduces upholstery movement.
The open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring system, is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.
The mattress border is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that helps to avoid border breakdown and allows you the full width of the sleeping surface.

Wasn't happy when I first got the mattress because it had a small hole in it. I wasn't sure if it was damaged due to the two delivery guys being clumsy when bringing the bed out of their van. I decided that I would complain about it I was lucky enough to be able to get a new mattress and I absolutely love it. Very comfortable and a lot more bigger than my last bed.

I love it. Would definitely recommend it to others. I didn't buy the headboard as that would add about another £145 to the price. I bought another one elsewhere for under£50 which is lovely and well made. Your headboards are pricey. But once again I love the bed and is a great price.
