With a width of 160cm, the Solar Backcare is 10cm wider than a standard king size mattress and is specifically designed to suit European and IKEA king size bed frames.The mattress is upholstered in a quality damask cover that features a micro quilted finish, a process that secures the outer cover to the surface layers, ensuring they are held firmly in place.
At the core of the mattress is a firm open coil interior, a system made up of hourglass shaped springs connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, also known as a helical wire.
To further strengthen the unit, a thick rod edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring interior. This wire allows you the use of the full width of the mattress and prevents border breakdown.
