Consisting of body-responsive pocket springs and hypo-allergenic fillings, the Buckingham mattress is upholstered in a distinctive striped damask cover with a hand tufted finish. The hand tufted process ensures the fillings are held firmly in place by passing tapes through the mattress at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with cotton tufts.
At the core of the Buckingham mattress is a firm and supportive sleep system made up of totally independent pocket springs housed within their own flexible cloth sleeve.
Piston-like support is provided to all parts of the sleeper's body as each pocket spring can move freely, so the load on one spring is not affected by any neighbouring springs.
A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter of the spring unit to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width.
For long-lasting support and comfort, it's important to care for the mattress. We recommend that you rotate it from head to toe and flip it over regularly to even out any wear and tear it will receive.
