Product Description

Manufactured in Yorkshire by The Shire Bed Company, the double size ottoman is a practical base for bedrooms with limited room as is offers maximum storage space.

When looking for a storage bed, most of us buy one with drawers in it, but you need space on either side to open the drawers whereas an ottoman requires no extra space.

Another benefit of buying an ottoman base is when you open the top lid all your belongings are easily viewed and can be kept neat, tidy and organised.

The ottoman features heavy duty springs within the base to allow for easy opening and closing. A non-slip top panel is fitted to stop your mattress from sliding off.

To cater for a range of bedroom decors, the base is available in a selection of vibrant colours. There are 3 matching headboards available to complement this ottoman base.

Study bed. Easily assembled but a two person job for attaching the gas piston parts as a bit of guidance is required and easier if someone is holding raised part. The mauve is a lovely, muted shade.

Reinforced model for a tall and heavy member of the family. He thinks it is great and the best bed he has slept on for a long time. We also bought a firm mattress at the same time from Archers as recommended. Both arrived via different couriers but actually only 10 minutes apart which was brilliant. Meant that my son could sleep on his new bed that evening rather than on the air bed!

good. bed base but i wished someone could have fixed it up for us hard work at first we didnt know what we were doing..after a while it was sorted happy with the base but not very keen on customer service..we had a good nights sleep after fixing it up..what if an elderly person had one of your beds or bases..they wouldnt be able to fix it up like we did...and they would need your help..

When it arrived the bed was very well packaged. It was exactly what I had viewed on the Archers website and expected to receive. It was very easy to assemble. If there was a downside, it was fitting two of the castors as they would not go fully into the sockets in the base, but with a bit of manoeuvring I overcame this.
Having downsized from a standard double bed to a small double, I am surprised by the extra space I have acquired. I am delighted with my purchase.
