The Highgrove Solar Ortho Dream long mattress has been designed to suit European and IKEA size bed frames and is popular with those who prefer a traditional orthopaedic support.

The mattress has a depth of 25cm that is made up of robust open coil springs, layers of hypo-allergenic white fibre fillings and features a durable hand tufted Belgian damask cover.

Hand tufting pre-tensions the Ortho Dream mattress by passing a series of tapes through the entire unit at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft.

The mattress has a sturdy open coil interior, a system made up of hourglass shaped springs connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, also known as a helical wire.

To further strengthen the unit, a thick rod edge wire is attached to the perimeter of the spring interior.

This wire prevents border breakdown and allows you the full use of the mattress width.
