Vandenabeele pigeons testimonial for Glenview Lofts
George Slaven recruits our new bed sales consultants and in his spare time, breeds pigeons at Glenview Lofts, Kilmarnock. Or have I got that the wrong way?
No he’s too old to be breeding sales consultants. Though Donna could be his daughter. Hmm…..
Anyhow George has asked me to write a testimonial on his gene selection skills. So to whom it may concern:
I have known George for 5 years. He used to be care free and happy but after sufficient bed boarding (like water boarding for sales consultants) he has assumed his responsibilities as Archers Sleepcentre recruitment manager with great aplomb and endeavour. His eye for talent is 99% true (one salesman went to the warehouse at Windsor Street and never returned) and I can attest that, with this one exception, they all find their way to work every day without fail.
George’s eye for a conditioned body and mind is un-nerving. At our last training session over 20% of our staff were still standing when the bar closed. We have no illness. This bit is definitely true – 11 sick days lost last year out of 50 staff. Proof indeed of fitness, resilience and as previously stated, an un-nerving ability to find the right bed shop every time they get out of their basket.
George has a brilliant knack of spotting winners and that is why I love him like a doo.
One of his pigeons won a race once too.
