Shop History
George Street Furnishers was established in 1951 and to this day is still a family run business with furniture stores in Newport and Cardiff. The Newport showroom boasts an extensive 60,000 sq. ft. showroom with an equally impressive range of bedroom, dining room and living room furniture.
With over 100 free parking spaces, you can browse their store at ease and even pop into their coffee shop for afternoon tea and a snack.
The Cardiff store also has a superb collection of bedroom, dining and Living room furniture with everything from traditional to contemporary styles.
Delivery
At George Street Furnishings they offer three delivery options. For local deliveries within South Wales, the charge for delivery is £25. For areas just out-with this range, the charge is £35 and £50 for the rest of the UK.
Deliveries are carried out by their 2 man service and will be between Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. A delivery day and date will be arranged at the time of the sale with an a.m. or p.m. time slot given.
