Sealy Memory Support Double Divan Bed Offer
Sealy have seen the light and offered us a deal on their best selling divan bed – the Memory Support. Only 12 months ago we couldn’t get enough of this bed but Silentnight and the non branded manufacturers have come along and eaten away at this innovative market leader.
The innovation that the Memory Support mattress brought to the public was that Sealy realised people actually preferred a thin layer of memory foam to a thick layer. Only 20mm of memory foam, the world famous posturepedic spring system and a low price. Bingo! Sealy had a best seller. Wow!
The innovation unfortunately wasn’t rocket science and easily copied. There are now new innovations with latex and memory that make the Memory Support look like an antique (eg the Sealy Cedar Grove). But you can’t put a bed that feels that good down that easily.
So we have persuaded Sealy to look at the price. And we have looked at our margins too. The result is a 2 drawer Sealy Memory Support divan retailing at £399. The price was reduced by £100 in all our stores on Tuesday and I can tell you that even by Wednesday evening we are selling shed loads. Well done Sealy!
