New bed shop to open in Clydebank

I was cycling down Maryhill Road as I often do and spotted the sign in Dreams bed shop window – Relocating to Clydebank.

Its so annoying. Clydebank deserves a good bed shop and we very much would like to sell our beds to the Clydebank folk. For now they have to travel to our Great Western Road bed store or Auldhouse in Pollokshaws. There are some good opportunities down there on the Clyde and I’m sure when the right deal can be done we shall be joining Dreams. I’m a great fan.

At least we lose our Dreams neighbour in Maryhill. At one time we had 4 Dreams stores within 3 miles of our Great Western Road shop. You had to rub your eyes. I live right beside the Maryhill bed shop and I can’t help but push my nose against the glass to look for any bed bargains. If you know me you will realise the beds are too expensive for my tastes but I shall still miss my wee nosey.

One last thing. I write these blogs for the google bots to read and for my own amusement. But I have had some comments from sad readers of my bed blogs which is great. So do feel free to comment. The more controversial and thought provoking the better. Nothing boring please.

pedantry is all I can do, I’m afraid – but its inspirational pedantry…
its not your taste that is too cheap – its your pocket. Everyone has the taste for expensive beds but not everyone wants to pay for them, “expensive beds at low prices”, its what the Bankies want!

I knew there was a name for Clydebank folk. Bankies! I’ll remember it because it rhymes with hankies. Better still – anally retentive, pecuniarily challenged, crankies.
