IKEA has been in the furniture industry for the past 60 years, starting off in its native Sweden and gradually making an impact all over the world.

Many larger items stocked by IKEA are flat-packed, meaning large volumes can be delivered at once, therefore cutting down on carbon emissions.
IKEA products can be viewed in its UK bed stores and are often taken away on the same day. However, some items may need to be ordered for delivery, or can even be located online.
There are two options from IKEA, either its parcel delivery service or truck delivery.
The former is priced at £6.50 for orders weighing less than 25kg, or £15 for orders exceeding this amount. The upper limit for this facility is 75kg, otherwise a truck delivery service will be necessary.
Larger items will be sent to the allocated address by a two-man team, with IKEA delivery charges starting from £35. Prices are affected by customer location and may vary depending on delivery times and dates.

Bedroom Storage
IKEA has an impressive range of bedroom storage, including chests of drawers, fitted wardrobes, shelving and shoe cabinets.

Double Beds
There are plenty of affordable double beds to be found at IKEA, such as the Aneboda bed frame with slatted base.
Available for £99, it can be used alongside a variety of different mattresses and even has room for under-bed storage.
The Heimdal comes with solid wood slats to provide ultimate posture support and is also compatible with a range of other IKEA bedroom products. This double bed is priced at £65, with mattresses and bed linen supplied separately.
