Main Bedroom Furniture Suppliers: Habitats own designers.
Shop History
Habitat has been around since 1964, the brain-child of Terence Conran, who wanted to change the old, stuffy look of the furniture at that time to a new and innovative look suiting the trendier clientele.
Habitat has since evolved into a world wide well loved brand, with stores across the UK, France and Spain, continuing to provide sleek and striking designs for fashion conscious home owners.
As well as over 25 stores in the UK alone, Habitat has a user friendly website where you can browse before you buy.
Delivery
Delivery to the UK Mainland and Northern Ireland is usually no more than £60 depending on the size and weight of the item. Call in-store to find out the exact prices or have a look under the Delivery and Returns tab on the Habitat website.

Storage/Blanket Boxes
Bedroom furniture doesn’t have to be all pine or oak wood, add a splash of colour to a boring backdrop with the Bocksey red wood large closed box.
This large rectangular box is closed but has a pull down door so that you can store whatever you like inside, be it blankets or clothing.
This box also doubles as a low table, perfect for settling a lamp or candle on. It’s also really versatile because it can be placed long ways or side ways for different variations of storage, or stacked with other similar items to make a totally unique piece.
Prices start from £150.
Chaise Longues
For a real touch of romatic Hollywood glamour, why not try a chaise longue?
If you have a larger bedroom, this could be the perfect thing to add some additional seating to your room, making it a sitting room and bedroom combined.
The Sidney charcoal chaise longue retains the real luxury of a traditional sofa you would see in the movies, whilst a trendy modern edge shines through with a leather covering and angled armrest.
Perfect for propping up on and reading a book, this chaise longue (which doubles as a bed folded out) is priced at £1,650.
