Shop History
The Furniture Factory is a family run retailer, founded on one 2000 sq foot showroom in the North End of Portsmouth. They trade in everything from beds and mattresses to living and dining room furniture.
They currently do not accept payments through their online shop. Instead you are sent your order confirmation by e-mail and asked to pay in store or over the phone. Alternatively, the whole process can be done by telephone.
Being an independent furniture shop with a small group of staff, The Furniture Factory consider themselves to be specialists. Helpful advice and a high standard of service are to be expected and enjoyed.
Delivery
The Furniture Factory’s deliveries are carried out by an internal courier. It’s their own transport and their own drivers. Stock items are delivered within 7 days and non-stock items will depend on the manufacturer.
Delivery charges are based on postcode catchment areas. For the codes included on their website, the prices range from £10 to £20. Out with these zones, including Southampton and Brighton; simply phone them for a quotation. Finally, specific delivery days can be met on request.
