Bed and Mattress Affiliates
Archers Sleepcentre has agreed a contract with Webgains to run an affiliate marketing program that pays affiliates up to 8% commission on sales to market our products and advertise our website.
We are totally new to marketing our web site using third party marketing and from our perspective 8% appears a very good deal. In fact we are only offering this commission because our competitors such as Mattressman, Bedroomworld and Bedstar make these offers.
Sometimes I do feel like a gold prospector out in them there hills who, if he thought about it, ought to be selling the shovels. Do bed shops really offer 8% to companies to advertise their beds? So it seems. You can tell I’m not feeling good about this.
On previous blogs I have done my fair share of moaning about pure internet traders who appear to be “buying” business. Now I could be accused of joining them. Well I hope I have done my sums right. All these bulk deals of Silentnight Limited Edition mattresses and Prado leather beds better be at such good prices we can afford all this.
We know we have great branded products so at least the affiliates will be happy. You could almost call us affiliates for the top brands such as Silentnight and Sealy – we are that good at selling their products.
So what would be a good result for an affiliate who joins our program? I may be totally wrong but I think they could earn £1k per month dead easy. Dead easy? Well if it was that easy I’d be doing it myself! This is all speculation. The program goes live this week. So I’ll write another blog in 3 months and tell you how it’s gone.
