Argos has long been known as one of the biggest catalogue shops on the British high street, but has moved with the times by extending its offering online. With more than 700 outlets across the UK and Ireland, it is hard to come by a town or city anywhere in the country that does not have an Argos nearby.
More than 130 million customers use Argos’ services every year, with 26 per cent of sales carried out online. It is also estimated that around two-thirds of the population own an Argos catalogue.
Bed delivery from Argos is simple, with the charge depending on the size and number of items ordered.
For large goods, a fee of £8.95 applies, with deliveries taking place from Monday to Saturday between 7am and 6pm. A slot will be allocated at the time of ordering, either morning, midday or afternoon, to ensure customers do not have to wait in all day to receive their items.
Smaller items, on the other hand, are delivered at a charge of £5.95 between Monday and Friday from 7am to 8pm. A choice of times may also be offered to the customer at the time of ordering.

Electric adjustable beds are growing in popularity and Argos has a number on offer for customers.
The Silentnight adjustable single bed, which comes with a memory foam mattress and headboard, has a fivefold action to support various areas of the body.
Priced at £679.95, this item comes with a firm Silentnight memory foam mattress to offer additional comfort.
Meanwhile, the Restmaster adjustable king size pocket spring bed can be purchased for £1,349.99 and comes with an upholstered base, two base units and mattresses that can also be manoeuvred in five different places.
