Now the synthetic smell has subsided I am happy, and it is a very comfortable mattress, also very good value for pocket spring + body foam component. I was surprised at the smell when I opened the plastic wrapping after delivery, [...] friends assured me this is not unusual for mattress with body foam (this has a 30 cm deep layer). To be honest I found it so overwhelming I needed to air it in a spare room for a week!
