Silentnight PocketZing Stockholm 4ft Small Double Mattress
The Stockholm small double mattress from Silentnight is substantially filled and enjoys a blend of 1200 pocket springs, 7 zone technology and hypoallergenic fillings.
It incorporates ‘Purotex’, a natural friendly bacterium that reduces mould, moisture and allergens, making it the perfect option for allergy sufferers.
It also creates a fresh sleeping environment as it includes ‘EcoComfort Fibre’ a scientifically proven fibre that considerably reduces heat build-up.
For instant comfort, body contouring and re-energising sleep, it features 7 cleverly zoned areas within its 1200 pocket spring system. The 1200 spring count is based on a standard king size.
Firmer springs are located at the head and neck area with softer springs offering a gentler support for your shoulders.
Firm springs help to support your upper back and waist with medium springs taking care of your lower back and hips.
The zones provide personalised body-contouring, eliminating any areas of pressure that may cause tossing and turning or aches and pains that are the main causes of sleep disturbance.
Pocket springs are housed within their own cloth sleeve so the load on one spring does not affect the one next to it. It provides piston like support to each part of the sleeper’s body and is not affected by varying weights and sizes.
The result is a spring system that contours your body profile and supports your spine and neck at the point of contact.
The spring unit border is strengthened by a rod-edge wire resulting in a wider sleeping surface. You can sleep comfortably right up to the very edge of the mattress without the sensation of rolling off.
Disturbed sleep can also be caused by overheating, so to overcome this problem, Silentnight have designed a ‘breathable airflow border’. This allows air to pass through the mattress, keeping the bed cool and helping you sustain a comfortable body temperature.
The mattress is one-sided (non-turn) and does not need to be turned over, but does require to be rotated regularly from head to toe.
