good bed, I was worried about creaks so tried to tighten very much, and despite being a girl I noticed the metal bend a little as I tightened, but glad to report 2 weeks later no creaks.
The screws had to be tightened with a bolt which included turning an allen key at the top and holding a spanner provided at the bottom which took some getting used to. the slats seemed flimsy but don't think they have broken.
good 4ft bed fits very well into the small room.
