It boasts Sealy’s zero deflection spring system, a robust interior that is perfect for those who prefer a much firmer sleeping surface.
The mattress is upholstered in a quality damask cover with a ‘hand tufted’ finish that adds strength and durability.
Hand tufting is a process of nylon tapes passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side. This pre-tensions the mattress to give it a firmer feel and ensures the fillings stay in place.
The foundation of the mattress is its spring interior; Sealy’s zero deflection spring system. They have designed it in conjunction with orthopaedic surgeons to eliminate uncomfortable pressure points by distributing weight away from the heaviest parts of our bodies.
The zero deflection spring system has a unique ‘offset’ hinge action design that literally profiles the sleeper’s body shape. It provides the correct support, exactly where your body needs it.
Supporting the mattress is our universal Solar 2 drawer divan base that is upholstered in a neutral and non-obtrusive faux suede cover. The base is a platform style, solid top that sits comfortably on contemporary silver glides.
