The Sunset 150 is a vacuum packed extra firm foam mattress, supplied by Kaymed, the world’s leading foam and memory foam manufacturers.

There are various types of polyurethane foam mattresses available today and Kaymed are recognised for getting the density, resilience and firmness just right.

As there are no springs in the mattress, the high resilient foam interior moulds itself to the shape of your body, promoting good blood circulation and spine alignment.
Just like memory foam, polyurethane foam mattresses have a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance which is an ideal sleeping surface for allergy sufferers or asthmatics.
The mattress is one sided and does not require to be turned over, but we do recommend you turn the mattress from head to toe occasionally.
The soft removable cover can be taken off to be washed or dry-cleaned. The mattress is delivered vacuum packed in a roll and when unpacked it fills out to its full and permanent size, providing an extra firm sleeping surface.

Note: This mattress is supplied vacuum packed in a roll. Once you remove it from the packaging it takes a few minutes to reach about 95% of its full shape, then after a few more hours it fills its shape completely.

Now have 2 of these mattresses in our Guest bedroom.
Several guests used the original and all have liked it. Originally we had another more expensive pocket memoryfoam mattress in the same room and guests were critical of this; we have now replaced this and at a very good price.

This mattress is very comfortable. Its firm and lovely to sleep on. However, we found that the memory foam mattress doesn't quite fill the whole bedstead we bought to go with it (Julian Bowen Barcelona LFE). We returned the first mattress as it didn't seem to have expanded fully and felt that the gap left at the foot of the bed between the mattress and the bedstead was too big to ignore. [...]Anyway, my advice, visit a store and make sure the mattress you want fits the bedframe you want before you buy.
