The bed frame is solidly constructed with double bolts on each corner. Your mattress rests on a wooden slatted base which is supported by a central rail that runs from the top to the bottom of the bed frame.
A Support leg is fitted to the centre rail and rests on the floor providing extra stability to the bedstead and mattress.

Looks good, the assembly is reasonably simple (just one nut needed a little 'regrooving'), but a little more attention to detail would've made a big difference. Particularly the slats, which varied in length to a degree that sometimes the screws didn't quite meet the intended timber. For that reason, may not stand the test of time, but overall, good value.
