Your mattress rests on a wooden slatted base which is supported by a central rail that runs from the top to the bottom of the bed frame. The bed frame is solidly constructed with double bolts on each corner.
A Support leg is fitted to the centre rail and rests on the floor providing extra stability to the bedstead and mattress.
