I was a little concerned about buying a bed online, but the solid oak construction, shaker look and the good value price were the deciding factors. When the bed arrived it was relatively easy to assemble I did it myself, I suggest you replace the alloy screws provided with brass or steel. However the bed frame is very big leaving a 3 cm+ gap each side of the standard mattress I purchased at the same time.[...] In other respects this is a good looking piece of furniture but you may want to get a specially made mattress to fit.
