Bought this bed for my 2 year old as his first bed. The bed looks great and is very sturdy, especially for the price! Only niggle is that the planks that go across the bed under the mattress had to be screwed in individually and some simply weren't long enough. They reached from side to side but weren't always long enough to get the screws in at both sides without it popping out the edge of the wood underneath. And we did follow the instruction re starting with the middle plank and pushing the two sides of the bed together to get it as close as possible.
For the price though it is great value. Would recommend it if you're looking for an affordable wooden bed.
