The slats for the base took a while to assemble as each one had to be fixed individually and rather than a tap as the instructions said required a bit of force. All in all Good value for money. i had a good nights sleep on it. [...]

This bed is very solid and the joints are likely to remain free of creaks. It really does embrace traditional and contemporary and looks far more sofisticated than the price suggests. The only draw back from what was otherwise easily assembled was slightly unclear instructional diagrams. We split some of the plastic sockets intended for the sprung slats by putting them in before the slats themselves. If you put them in WITH the slats then the job is easy. The wooden parts are lighter than expected but all in all an excellent purchase.
