Highgrove Solar Supreme Double Mattress
The Solar Supreme offers a deep, supportive and comfortable mattress with a medium support.
It’s robust, hard wearing, durable and very reasonably priced, so it’s easy to see why it’s one of our best-selling double mattresses.
The mattress is substantially filled, at 25cm deep and is fully upholstered in a quality Belgian damask cover with a micro quilted finish.
It's built to last and comes with a 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Micro quilting sews the outer damask cover to the top layers creating a quilted pattern that covers the whole sleeping surface. This results in less upholstery movement avoiding any lumps appearing in the mattress.
It has an open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring that offers a medium support. Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.
To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge and allows you the full use of the mattress width.
