The small double Solar Supreme is ideal for those who prefer a medium support, not too firm and not too soft.
The mattress is upholstered in a hard wearing, quality damask cover with a micro quilted finish.
Micro quilting sews the outer damask cover to the top layers creating a quilted pattern that covers the whole sleeping surface.
This results in less upholstery movement avoiding any lumps appearing in the mattress.
It has an open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring and offers a medium support. Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.
To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge and allows you the full use of the mattress width.
The mattress rests upon a solid top, platform style 2 drawer divan base which is upholstered in a faux suede cover. The base sits on contemporary silver glides and its neutral colour will go with any colour scheme your bedroom may have.
