It combines totally independent firm pocket springs, generous layers of upholstery and a hard wearing Belgian damask cover and it’s exclusive to us at Archers.
A micro quilted finish sews the outer damask cover to the top layers of upholstery creating a quilted pattern, resulting in less upholstery movement, avoiding any lumps appearing in the mattress.
Pocket springs are totally independent, each in its own fabric pocket so the load on one spring doesn’t affect the one next to it. The springs provide piston-like support to each part of the sleeper’s body.
The result is a spring that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape. This allows the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your body.
With over 1000 individually pocketed springs (1000 in a standard king size) you have the benefit of three times the number of springs you get in a standard open coil mattress (325).
The mattress rests upon a solid top, platform style divan base which is upholstered in a faux suede cover. The base sits on contemporary silver glides and its neutral colour will go with any colour scheme your bedroom may have.
