At 27cm deep, it’s a highly specified mattress and boasts independent extra firm pocket springs, substantial fillings, a quality damask cover and a 10 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
The mattress has a ‘hand tufted’ finish, a process of nylon tapes that pass through the entire mattress at regular intervals and is secured on each side.
This pre-tensions the mattress to give it a firmer feel and ensures the layers of fillings stay in place.
The foundation of the mattress is its pocket spring system. 1500 totally independent springs (in a standard king size), each in its own fabric pocket so the load on one spring doesn’t affect the one next to it. The pocket spring interior provides piston-like support to each part of the sleeper’s body.
The result is a spring that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape. This allows the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your body shape.
Supporting the mattress is our universal Solar faux suede divan base. It has a platform style, solid top and is upholstered in a neutral faux suede fabric that will blend in with any colour scheme your bedroom may have. The divan sits on contemporary silver glide feet.
