The small single Solar Orthopocket 1500 divan set boasts a substantial mattress with individual pocket springs, generous layers of upholstery and a ‘hand tufted’ damask cover.
Hand tufting is a process of nylon tapes that pass through the entire mattress at regular intervals and is secured on each side.
This pre-tensions the mattress to give it a firmer feel and ensures the layers of fillings stay in place.
The king size mattress has 1500 totally independent springs, each in its own fabric pocket so the load on one spring doesn’t affect the one next to it. The pocket spring interior provides piston-like support to each part of the sleeper’s body.
The result is a spring that directly supports at the point of contact and is not affected by varying weight and body shape. This allows the pocket spring mattress to contour perfectly to your body shape.
The mattress rests on our universal Solar faux suede divan base. It has a platform style, solid top and is upholstered in a neutral faux suede fabric and sits on contemporary silver glide feet.
For complete peace of mind, the bed comes with a 10 year warranty against any defects in manufacturing.
