At 25cm deep, the Solar Ortho Dream mattress, is generously filled and will provide your body with an extra firm orthopaedic support.
The mattress is upholstered in a durable damask cover with a ‘hand tufted’ finish for added strength and durability.
Hand tufting pre-tensions the mattress to provide a firmer sleeping surface and ensures the fillings remain in place.
The spring system is made up of rows of hourglass shaped open coil springs, also recognized as Bonnell springs.
Each spring is connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as the helical wire which runs from the head to the foot of the mattress.
For additional support, the perimeter of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick rod-edge wire that supports the edge of the spring system, preventing border breakdown.
The base has a solid top (platform style) which is upholstered in a neutral faux suede cover and benefits from 2 practical storage drawers. It sits on contemporary silver feet.
Both the mattress and base come with a full 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
