Its hard wearing damask cover is micro quilted to the top layers creating a quilted pattern that covers the whole sleeping surface.

This results in less upholstery movement avoiding any lumps appearing in the mattress.

It has a robust open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring, that offers a firm support across the whole of the mattress.

Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.

To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress.
