The Solar Backcare is the standard length of 6’3, but only 2’6 wide and perfect if space is an issue.
The mattress is well upholstered in a hard wearing damask cover with a micro quilted finish and has a firm support spring system.
Micro quilting sews the outer damask cover to the top layers creating a quilted pattern that covers the whole sleeping surface.
This results in less upholstery movement avoiding any lumps appearing in the mattress.
It has an open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring that offers a firm support. Open coil spring units are made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.
To avoid border breakdown the edge of the spring unit is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress.
