One of the most common ailments is back pain. A recent survey showed that over 49% of the UK’s population will suffer from some form of back pain at some time in their life.
Whether it’s caused by stress, accidents, bad posture or by lifting something heavy, it ranks as one of the most commonly reported conditions in the UK today.
An adjustable bed can reduce pain in the lower back area and any other discomforts associated with back injuries.
The 5 way hinged action can change positions within seconds at the touch of a button offering various sleeping positions.
The sprung slatted base features a flexible shoulder zone and adjustable sliders in the lumber area to allow the middle section to be firmer or softer providing the upmost comfort and relaxation. The head end can be raised to a sitting position to assist you getting in and out of bed.
The generous 80mm layer of memory foam is temperature sensitive and designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces. Memory foam moulds itself to the sleeper’s body shape and conforms perfectly to your body contours reducing the overall pressure placed on your joints.
The reduction in pressure points improves blood circulation and results in less tossing and turning throughout the night.
Divan bases are available with the option of a foot end drawer or two side storage drawers at a cost of £65 per drawer. Should you require this option please call our dedicated sales team on 0845 463 8173.

Comments about Furmanac Irene Electric Adjustable King Size Bed:
[...]had to get use to the room, as went from Double to King size but makes the world of difference, and to prove how good it is we have told everyone we know, and even love showing it to friends that visit. also first time we have memory foam matresses, and they are like being hugged all night. Just wish our old bed had broken earlier. LOLThe only thing I would suggest changing on this is that the adjustable bits are not fixed to the bed so it can be difficult to stop it sliding, but I have used the materess stoper to stop the frame moving, as the matress does not move with the head and footer. but this is only a minor problem, as I would not be without our Kingsize Bedknobs and broomsticks type BED
