The mattress is expertly upholstered and its hand tufted knitted stretch fabric cover is extremely soft to touch and gives the mattress a luxurious feel.
Hand tufting is a process of nylon tapes that are passed through the mattress at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton ‘tuft’. This ensures the fillings stay in place and reduces any upholstery movement.
The memory foam layer moulds itself to your body shape as it is temperature sensitive and designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces.
The result is it reduces pressure points on your body, creating better blood circulation and resulting in less tossing and turning by evenly distributing your body weight.
The open coil spring system is robust, durable and made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.
The border of the mattress is strengthened by a thick, rod-edge wire that adds support to the perimeter of the mattress. This lets you sleep right up to the edge without the sensation of rolling off.
Designed to be one-sided, the Memory Flex mattress does not need to be flipped over, although it does require to be rotated from head to toe on a regular basis.
