This chest is part of the Cameo Collection, and the clean, simple design is inspired by the (*)American shaker movement. The chest is solid pine, with plywood drawer bases and back panel. The chest comes fully assembled.
(*) Dating from 1820 to 1860, Shaker furniture refers to styles produced by the American religious group, the United Society of Believers. Very simple and utilitarian, the style is characterized by wooden furniture with clean lines, and minimal ornamentation.
