The bed looks lovely and is beautifully sturdy! It was difficult for one person to put together as the slats are not quite wide enough (by design) so that they are fixed under tension. This is probably what makes the bed sturdy but my husband swore a few times! We were impressed that there is plenty of room underneath for a spare mattress, which is useful for guests. [...] All in all we are very pleased.

The bed is perfect for our smallest room and just about big enough for 2 people, without losing the whole of the bedroom to a standard double bed. Quality is great, and a bargain. It also doesn't look cheap even though it is and the wood pine is solid
