The sturdy spindle design of the Pickwick is a classic. The pine has the inherent strength that fibre board and mdf just can't match. The headend and footend have double bolt fixings for extra solidity (almost unique at this price) and the slats are further supported by a good sturdy centre rail. Great price, great bed.
